Reconditioned
Carpet Tiles

With our state-of-the-art, technology, we’re able to restore used carpet tiles to “like new” condition, offering both an economic and environmental solution to harmful landfill waste

Instead of throwing away your used carpet tiles, reach out to us! Reduce Waste, Save Costs, and Lower Your Carbon Footprint.

When it’s time to remove your existing carpet tiles, simply contact our team.

We visit your site to assess the brand, quality, and how the tiles were originally installed — all of which helps us determine how many can be saved. On average, we’re able to divert 40–50% of carpet tiles from landfill. And with hundreds of thousands of tonnes of carpet waste generated every year in the UK, that makes a real difference.

Our specialists return to uplift, sort, and palletise the tiles suitable for reuse. These are transported to our central hub, where they’re cleaned using Europe’s only water-tunnel cleaning machine, capable of processing 80–100 sqm per hour. During cleaning, indentations from furniture and partitions are removed, restoring each tile to its original condition.

Every reusable tile is then uploaded to the Encore by Design website, where clients can browse colours, brands, and available square meters. Once purchased, the tiles are boxed, palletised, and ready to be installed for their second life.

Choose to be part of the solution — supporting a truly circular economy.

Join the Movement Toward Sustainable Workspaces

Unused carpet tiles are currently used for energy recovery through our optimum system while we develop our recycling system which allows us to make a brand new tile from waste tiles.

In terms of our carpet reuse program, you have two service options:

Option 1:

We cover the entire whole reuse process (uplift, sorting, cleaning, and storage) with a charge per square metre. When your carpet tiles are eventually resold, you will be reimbursed a percentage (typically around 40%) for the sellable tiles.

Option 2:

As the client you can opt to initially only cover the uplift cost, and we will provide you with a 20-30% of the resale price, which is directly deducted from the uplift cost. This reimbursement is dependent on the quantity of resellable tiles.

Where possible, images, quantity of goods, initial manufacturer, product specifics, location, date of purchase and installation is all information that will benefit in expediting the reuse process.

Carpet reuse can take 2-6 weeks.
